BMILC seeks to respond to the urgent and acute need of community members detained or released in need of legal representation. In partnership with local lawyers, ABISA supports and connects blvck immigrants with quality legal services and representation at a low/ pro-bono cost.

ABISA and Hatian Bridge Alliance co-created the Black Immigrant Bail Fund(BIBF). BIBF provides free assistance and relief to blvck migrants in pursuit of liberation. our commitment is to eradicate the mass incarceration of blvck migrants, transforming one life at a time.

to ensure nobody is left out on account of language access. ABISA advocates for language justice and provides interpretation and translation services. we also train community members to be service providers and bridge the language access gap.
